I first started teaching at the age of 16 as a swimming instructor. Since then, I have expanded my teaching repertoire by offering tutoring services to family friends and relatives, assisting them in subjects such as Maths and English, and piano teaching to beginner musicians. Over the years I have worked with ages 3 – 16, providing me with insights into various learning styles and developmental stages, further enhancing my ability to adapt my teaching approach to meet the unique requirements of each student. 

Learning is a continuous journey, and as an educator, I am dedicated to instilling a sense of curiosity and a passion for discovering answers in every child I teach. I firmly believe that fostering confidence and creating an enjoyable learning atmosphere are essential components in unlocking a student's potential. Through creating a positive environment, I strive not only to help students meet their academic goals but also to exceed them. Adapting to the unique needs of each child is paramount in my approach to tutoring. Whether it's altering my teaching style or customising lesson plans, I tailor my methods to match the individual learning pace and preferences of the student. This flexibility ensures that I can effectively support and challenge students at their level, facilitating their progress and mastery of the subject matter.

I graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a degree in Music. However, through the university's interdisciplinary approach, I had the opportunity to study the subject’s law, sociology, and psychology. This exposure ignited my fascination with diverse perspectives and ways of understanding the world. I am deeply passionate about continuously expanding my understanding of various disciplines and am committed to sharing this enthusiasm with others. I firmly believe in the power of education to empower individuals. As such, I am always eager to facilitate learning and encourage others to embark on their own journeys of discovery.
