Refunds, Cancellations, and Obligations
PAYMENT STRUCTURE:
Tutorwaze sessions are billed on a weekly basis after all sessions have taken place. Parents/guardians may opt to pay for monthly blocks in advance, in which case payment is required before the first session of the month. If advance payments are made and sessions are cancelled, either a refund will be provided or a full credit for the cancelled session will be applied to future lessons.

CANCELLATION BY CLIENT:
To cancel or reschedule a session without penalty, please provide at least 24 hours notice in writing to the tutor. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the session cost. Cancellations must be communicated in writing (via email or text) directly to the tutor. Verbal cancellations or informal notices will not be considered valid.

CANCELLATION BY TUTOR:
If the tutor needs to cancel a scheduled session, they will provide as much notice as possible to the client. The session will then be rescheduled at a mutually convenient time. For clients who pay in advance, if rescheduling within the same billing period is not possible, either a refund will be provided or a full credit for the cancelled session will be applied to future lessons. In the event of frequent cancellations by the tutor, clients may request an alternative tutor or discuss other options with Tutorwaze to ensure continuity in the student’s learning.

NO-SHOW POLICY:
A client is considered a "no-show" if they are not present at the pre-determined location at the scheduled lesson time or if they arrive more than 15 minutes late. In such cases, the client is still responsible for the full payment of the scheduled session, and no discounts or refunds will be provided for lessons not attended by the student. For clients who pay weekly, payment for the missed lesson is required before tutoring services can continue.

LATE POLICY:
Fees are based on the scheduled lesson times, and no adjustments will be made for time lost due to late arrival by the client. If a client arrives late, the lesson will proceed for the remainder of the scheduled time, without any extensions or adjustments to the fee. In cases where the tutor arrives late, any lost time will be made up by extending the lesson, if mutually agreed upon, by the amount of time delayed.

EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES:
We understand that exceptional circumstances may arise. If you need to cancel due to such circumstances, please inform us as soon as possible. Tutorwaze may, at its discretion, waive the cancellation fee or penalties. Clients may be required to provide evidence of the circumstances for consideration.

LONG-TERM CANCELLATIONS:
For students needing to pause tutoring for an extended period, please notify us at least one week in advance to avoid further charges.

TERMINATION:
Clients wishing to terminate tutoring services must provide at least one full lesson’s notice before the desired termination date. If insufficient notice is given, the client will be charged for all lessons scheduled in the upcoming week. For clients who have paid for a monthly block in advance, no refund will be provided for any remaining lessons in the current month. Tutorwaze maintains a no refund policy for all services. Refund requests, including those made by clients unable to attend or use services for any reason (regardless of the student's reasons or whether advance notice is provided), will not be honoured.

If a tutor is no longer available due to unforeseen circumstances, Tutorwaze will make every effort to assign an alternative tutor. If an alternative tutor cannot be provided, clients will have the option of receiving a full refund for any unused sessions or having those sessions credited toward future tutoring. Tutorwaze may, at its discretion, waive penalties for cancellations or terminations in exceptional circumstances, although clients may be required to provide evidence of such circumstances for consideration.

NO WARRANTIES:
Tutorwaze is committed to delivering quality tutoring services, but we do not guarantee specific outcomes or improvements in a student’s performance as a result of the tutoring provided. Our responsibilities are limited to those explicitly stated in this agreement, and Tutorwaze make no additional promises, either expressed or implied, beyond what is outlined here.

WHOLE AGREEMENT:
This document contains the entire agreement between the client and Tutorwaze regarding tutoring services. By engaging with Tutorwaze, the client agrees to abide by all terms and conditions outlined in this policy. Any previous or verbal agreements, understandings, or representations regarding tutoring services are superseded by this agreement. If any part of this agreement is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect. Any amendments to this agreement must be made in writing and agreed upon by both the client and Tutorwaze.
